Terms of Use
Last updated: June 2026
Please read these terms before using the Lessons by Neil Beaver app or this website. By downloading or using the app, you agree to be bound by them.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the app, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for your own professional or personal purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicense any part of the app. You may not use the app for any commercial purpose other than your own driving instruction practice.
3. Subscriptions
The app is available on a subscription basis, processed entirely by Apple through the App Store.
Free trial. New subscribers receive a free one-month trial. The trial converts automatically to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled beforehand.
Billing. Subscription fees are charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase and at the start of each renewal period.
Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Cancellation. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no refunds are issued for unused time.
Apple's standard App Store terms apply to all purchases. We have no access to your payment details and no control over billing.
4. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the app, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such loss.
The animated diagrams in the app are teaching aids only. They do not replace official DVSA guidance, the Highway Code, or the professional judgement of a qualified driving instructor.
5. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
6. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The date at the top of this page will always reflect when the terms were last updated.
